  • HYSTE'RIAH - BADASSERY!

A new HYSTE'RIAH CD! This time a full album! Alright, I know...it's only 15 minutes but still 10 full tracks! What the fart do you expect with that speed? This one is more or less a direct offspring to the first, and in my opinion, best HYSTE'RIAH release: The "Attempt The Life" CC which was reissued on vinyl by "TO THE DEATH RECORDS"! Fact is that much of the new material are based on old drafts, lyrics and idees of mine that never reached the studio back then. This CD clearly show the roots to early HYSTE'RIAH (VOID , Gang Green , Bad Brains ) but also newer and more "djazzy" influences like Naked City . Why the "cover", or more correctly, the "Time To Die part II" of the track from D.T.A.L 's first 7"EP? Well, that was the first song I wrote when in D.T.A.L, and I like the cover version APPÄRATUS did on their "Absürd 19 " release! Simple as that!

  • TWOM TWOX - City Prison!

Have you ever tried to leave the city by foot...just to discover it is surrounded by industrial areas protected by fences and barb wire? It's almost like a gated community but not for keeping people out. Instead it keep citizens in, allows them to get out only via one of the few highways entries. 10 tracks of hardcore, thrash, funk, jazz, fusion and ballads in a weird mix...all based on the old fourbanger once again! Does it sound crazy? Well, you all know I don't give a fart about opinions anyway! I do my own shit and follow my own rules! The name "TWOM TWOX" may not be a brainer for those of you who are familiar with the roman numeral system. Remember that love knows no boundaries regarding gender, identity or ethnicity! And don't take your rights for granted! They have been, and must be fought for, to be kept!

  • I FEEL HONORED!

This was a very pleasent surprice! Malaysian king of hardcore, APPÄRATUS , cover my song Time To Die on their latest release Absürd 19 ...and they do it damned good too! Originally released on D.T.A.L 's first 7"EP back in 1984, APPÄRATUS take it to modern highs with wall breaking riffs and mercilessly pounding beats! It hits like a iron knuckle duster and I really love the new chorus arrangement. It is amazing how some classics get a life of their own and come back in new and fresher versions...and this one is a hell of a killer! It also shows that good music never dies but gets better with age in the right hands. And APPÄRATUS definitely is the right hands in this case. Very well done, mates! I actually wish D.T.A.L 's original version from 1984 had been that good ...

  • A jerking carcass!

This was the last kick from a band dying in the gallow...a brutal, speedy thrashcore band fell through the trap door down to a lousy doom metal darkness. My intentions have always been to perform as good as possible under any circumstances and not try to make more money by fill out albums with low standard shit like on this compilation. There is of course a bizniz aspect...someone is paying for the work and you need the folding greens. You don't want to make anyone disappointed but are no better than your last performance...and "Love The Ice" was disrespectful towards both buyers, label and all the other bands involved. I tried to do the best out of it and still think my harmonic basslines supporting the guitar solo is the best part of the track.

  • The Hardcore Years!

The hardcore years!!! Nostalgia? No farting way! Sometimes we were happy to get home from the shows in one piece...or alive at all! It was not uncommon with emergency hospital visits and tour buses demolished to junkyard wrecks! Brutal hardcore in 200 mph! We managed to get six tracks into our debut 7"EP and that was just mindblowing at that time! Even Jello Biafra from Dead Kennedys wrote us and shared their list of distributors. Today, when I find our old records on eBay or other sites for sky high prices about $1000, I regret I never saved a box of vinyl for my retirement. But they were all sold out fast as a fart in a hurricane and we never expected them to be classified as "classic". Ty at Maximum RocknRoll obviously had a crystal ball to play with...

  • Fluffy Muffins - Shit Done!

All the pieces in this puzzle came together at last! It was a long journey in a million minor steps...kind of. Some asses to kick and faces to fist but also some love and hugs to share. These ten tracks popped out almost by themselfes and became very jazz and funk inspired although there were still elements of harder genres in them. All recordings were done while setting up my new studio so there was a minor learning curve and some mistakes on the way. The plan was to do it simple and basic, and at the end none of the tracks used more than five channels each. Besides the drums the rest was in mono...which turned out in mono deluxe in final mix! It was very inspiring to base all the tracks on the four shooter and let it have major space. But that is what progress is all about! Try something new and hear the music grow by itself. Shit done! Over and out!

  • The lost thrashcore band!

HYSTE'RIAH ended up on vinyl...almost 30 years to late! Things got really fucked up in the early 1990s with members screwing up by not taking it seriously or using the band for their private agenda. Broken deals (sorry Richard C at "Wild Rags Records", shit happened behind our backs), bad decisions and disrespect were the outcome resulting in the end of the band. But Cronis at "To The Death Records" asked for the remains and brought life in the cadaver. After a clean up of the the old master tapes former team mate and guitarist Cliff T, a k a Klas Ideberg, refreshend the recordings in Darkane Studios. Thanx to Cronis for giving HYSTE'RIAH a descent salute and to Klas for yet another collab.

  • IN GOOD COMPANY!

This compilation is a classic! I can't remember how we ended up on this one...but we did...and in good company too: Grave, Nihilist, Obscurity, Merciless, Leprosy, Treblinka, Dismember, Atrocity, Macrodex and Kentik Brosk. The HYSTE'RIAH track "Jeremiad Of The Living" was taken from our second demo with the same title. I have seen some of those tapes for sale about $200...and even more! Who could believe that back in those days? Some of the bands still exist today while others regrouped under new names or had members who continued with other projects: Grave, Entombed, Darkane and Hellacopters are some of them. I was in good company!
