Well, all of you bass freaks out there knows that the good old M/F 4-stringer is a killer when fired by steady hands. There are some incredible good bass players (no names mentioned - everybody have their own favs) and some of them do things on their instrument that make other musicians question their own skills. And these dudes and dudas are up front in the center of the spots and produce amazing music!
Am I one of them? Nope...I am just an ordinary old fart who did my own thing. I had my own style, technique and sound as a bass player. Why four strings? Wasn't I capabel to handle a five- or six shooter after all those years? Sure, but I always found new roads to walk on the fretboard and I never had any need for a 5th (and I don't know what I would do with a 6th!). Now you know why this website has its name...
After many years in bands I decided to put up this web site. My vocal skills was wellknown as "unbelievable insufficient" but I was never giving a fart about that! And just for the fun of it I highlight the following quote from the book Swedish Death Metal:
"One of my favorites is Hyste’riah who were fluid, supple thrash masters with the weirdest vocals this side of early Bathory.
